Six Word Memoir Analysis
I wrote this six word memoir about me and racing. I wrote it about racing because I have raced since i was a kid. My six word memoir’s meaning is at the start when you let go of the clutch and push the gas you never stop. What i have learned over the years is never look back always keep going, So that is what i have always done. When i take off i never look back i just keep moving forward. I have learned a lot about racing from my dad, aunt, uncle, and even my cousins. I used this six word memoir because it is what best explains me on the race track. There were a lot of others I could have used but i felt like this one meant the most. And the picture i have used for the six word memoir is me on the race

In other words, this means that no matter what life throws at someone, people need to find the strength to pick them selves up. “These thoughts were going through my mind as I continued to run, not feeling my numb foot, not even realizing that I was still running, that I still owned a body that galloped down the road among thousands of others.”…

The hot sun was beating down on my neck as I was picking weeds in a field. The humidity is so thick you could cut it with a knife. The smell of grass was in the air. My soft hands were getting blistered. My skin had been browned as it was covered in dirt. I hated my parents for making me do this. A man comes over and asks me to make sure that I don’t miss any. This man was my grandfather. My parents had me dropped me off while they were at my sister's softball game. I was stuck working with my grandfather for the day. He had owned two houses right next to each other, each with a large lot that needed to be maintained. There was a lot of weeds to be picked. This scene happened all too often when I was younger. I did not like this at the time and hated my parents for making me do this work. But working with my grandfather taught me character and work ethic. He himself was a hard worker and wanted me to be like him. I did not understand this at the time and just did not want to be there. In the long run I learned a lot of valuable skills from my grandfather and he became one my most influential role models.…

Six-word Memoir is a scheme originally established by a U.S founded storytelling publication. The publication aimed at presenting a podium for storytelling in all its kinds. For instance, ‘I can’t keep my own secrets’ is a six word memoir that depicts an individual’s tendency to reveal chief secrets or significant past moments in their lives. On the other hand, when I say ‘Alcohol has utterly ruined my life’, then I am simply trying to inform the reader of my continued abuse of alcohol and my bitter…

A creed is one’s identity. Something that embodies one’s philosophies and beliefs which guides that person through a life-long journey. Something that symbolizes one’s reason for living and ambitions. In Passing it on: A Memoir, Yuri Kochiyama expresses her creed that she passionately abides by, demonstrating her philosophies and exemplifying the elements of faith in God, humility and compassion, which are the guidelines for everything she lives by. Those who are opposed to the idea of men and women playing baseball together, often defend their argument with the belief that women are not physical capable of participating in sports. In addition they often entice the belief that women are more susceptible to injury than men. This is not a valid reason to exclude women and there is an abidance of research that refutes this claim. In addition to excluding women based on their sex, the sport of baseball is connected to racial segregation. It was believed that baseball was a white man's sport and only men who were white possessed the ability to play the sport. This ideology has filtered into present society, resulting in a few number of African Americans or people of color who participate in the sport. With that being said race is absolutely a factor in whether or not women can play baseball with men. Women who are not white are seen as inferior and they are not expected to be successful in playing baseball. There are great deal of stereotypes that surround race and a person's athletic ability. These stereotypes have been around since the "Americanization" of baseball and traces of them are still evident today. Physical size and strength, the possibility of injuries, and the color of one's skin have been used as strong reasons to prohibit women and girls from entering the world of baseball, all of these claims are absurd and false, these issues should not just be associated women due to their biological sex. Women regardless of race are just as capable as men to participate in the sport of baseball. We can alleviate and erase these myths surrounding the inferiority of women and the superiority of men in the arena of sports. To solve this problem we must start early, we must preparing girls early to have the ability and skill to play baseball amongst their male counterparts.…

As I step off the yellow school bus, I looked up at the big, brown brick elementary school. Kids were everywhere. I was excited. The night before, I could hardly sleep. I kept getting up every five minute, afraid I might oversleep. I felt like the big man on campus, but in reality, I was the little man on campus. I was about six years old and so tiny among the older children. I was taken to the cafeteria, where all the kids were to find their teachers and walk to their homerooms as a class. I found my teacher. She was a middle-aged Caucasian woman with blonde hair. Her name was Ms. Bishop. She was nice. The bell rung and we walked in a single file line to our classroom for the next couple months.…

In March 2011, I took a few days of classes and received my hunting education certification. Looking back, the actual class time is just a blur of what not to do, but I was reminded of them when I took drivers education last December, with the what not to do teachings. I also remember being very nervous about the test, but having a great feeling when I learned I passed. That October, I remember being immensely excited to go on my first hunt. The night before my dad and I left, I had a parent teacher conference and I remember getting some strange looks in the parking lot because we had a trailer loaded with tents, four wheelers, chairs, and a bunch of other stuff…
