Sixth Grade Research Paper
I am ever so blessed from being able to have such amazing teachers, to friends that I can rely on and trust, and being able to come to a school that lets me be a christian/believer without being ashamed of it. Thanks be to God who has made all of this possible.
Sixth Grade is very fun, but some classes are easier than others. In middle school you transition classes every fifty minutes. My best class that I would say I have pretty good at is Math, some of it is easy to understand and some of it is hard for me to understand. In 6th grade, the grade I think I could have improved on is science; it’s usually the easiest subject but for me, it’s hard. I have grown a lot in the 6th grade; I have improved physically in P.E.. Some of my grades have improved like my free on science in which has gone up a letter grade; but in other classes my grade has stayed the same such as, L.A. and math.
There has been a couple of tough times with my grades in which I just had to stop what I was doing and say a prayer asking God to help me and give me the strength to finish. I am so glad that I serve a God who loves and cares for all who calls his name and loves him. Learning is a big part of my life, and I am glad that the teachers at WOLCS are amazing at what they do. My time in 6th grade has helped me not only get to know God more, but it has

But now that I have grown from that, I am able to go out and tell others about God wherever the encounter may be, either on the streets, church, school, etc, I will always be ready to tell others about God. Pray is another thing I was scared to do at the beginning of the year, I’m not anymore and will pray even if it means for a student or even a teacher I don’t know; I would definitely do it for that

Should Conroe High School remove their rule on not letting kids leave school to get food? Yes, Some students do not eat lunch at all and also because some of the food is disgusting, and being able to leave the school during lunch would be better for the students, we would be able to hang out for a little outside of school instead of being in class for 8 hours.…

The high school has given me all types of opportunities from discipline to study options and also preparing me for college and the real world. I’s truly grateful for all the supports given to get this far because high school helped changed and mold me to become the young lady that I is today. It helped further my education and I continue to pray to the lord above that I can stay on track because only God knows where I’m headed with this education; but for sure it’s for a better me. Hopefully my years at Concordia will be the years of…

Reading the article, Thriving at School, was incredibly inspirational as a future teacher. I have heard amazing faith stories of teachers who would stay after school and pray for every student by walking past their locker. There have been teachers who pray for every student on their rosters. What a great way to reflect on the day that you have had or prepare for the day to come. Terri Trepanier states that, “Praying is the only thing I know to do to maintain my sanity and prepare myself to stand firm for this demanding calling.”…

The ancient Greek Democracy and the ancient Roman Republic might seem like they are the same but they actually differ in some points. A Greek Democracy focuses on voting directly on an issue, while a Roman Republic focuses on voting for representatives. That is mainly what makes a Greek Democracy and a Roman Republic different. But in the end they both end up being similar by giving power to the people.…

As eighth grade started I told myself that I was going to make new goals and achieve them. One of my goals was to be in choir. I always thought and imagined what it would be like singing on stage in front of millions of people. I was always singing no matter what, from singing in the shower, in the middle of the grocery store, and singing in the car with my family. Nothing stopped me, definitely the day I got told news that changed my attitude about everything.…

When I was in the eighth grade I went on a weeklong mission trip with my youth group to Houston, Texas. This trip was a turning point in my life spiritually and mentally, completely changing my thought process of inner city missions at the time. There is a ministry there called CSM that invites youth groups to come and they will take the group to certain places in the city where they can serve and get a feel for the need there and many places. This trip was very impacting for me and I am still looking back on it and realizing the benefits.…

Seventh grade is a struggle for almost every student. It is a completely different atmosphere compared to what students have adapted to in their elementary years. My seventh-grade year started as a struggle, but after hard work and determination, it ended in success. I was a student at Bayou Academy and had been since kindergarten. I was always an honor roll student. It had never been a struggle for me to make good grades. Everything was about to change because of my seventh-grade English teacher, Mrs. Maria Johnson. Because of all of the journal writing in Mrs. Johnson's class, I am a better student today.…

In middle school, I was shy and insecure being in the minority. I hated walking through the halls, making eye contact with others, speaking in public, and socializing with others. I felt as if everyone was against me. Once I entered this basement and joined this Catholic youth group, my insecurities slowly disappeared. This youth group gave me a sense of belonging and community that I didn’t have at school.…

As a child, I was always taught to pray and to always equip my life and decision with prayer. I vividly recall as a child being taught to pray when I wake, at meal time, before going to bed, when we went to church and any other time when I wanted to have an intimate moment with God. With my dad being a pastor, I recall many moments witnessing my dad pray for someone…

Because I grew up in a Christian home, my struggles have thankfully not been as severe as those that other students in this class may have endured. Nevertheless, my experiences have shaped who I am and how I relate to God. God has taught me, and continues to teach me, more about my personality and sin struggles through the valleys He has brought me through, but I will limit my comments to just a few key points I believe He is trying to make in my…

Religion also allowed me to develop better relationships with other students and teachers in the school. Our relationships are not like normal relationships though, we are able to express our thoughts and needs through the presence of the Lord. My religion allowed me to meet amazing people and I am forever thankful for that.…
