INTRODUCTION
I am employed in the IT projects department for a multinational company which manufactures motorcycles. The company has a number of sites in different countries; however, communications between the different parts of the company are limited to only telephone and email. I have therefore been chosen to head up a project which will install new communications systems between the different parts of the organisation
My senior management team has allocated a budget of £85,000 to update communication systems for the company, so that I spend this money, including replacing hardware if appropriate with the aim of having a company that is using the latest technologies to improve communications and performance.
