Sky Girl Alternate Ending
Algon, a hunter, was in a field and noticed something strange: a circle cut in the prairie grass. He wanted to inspect it and find out what caused the circle in the grass. He hid behind a bush in order to do this. Moments later he noticed a basket descending from the sky containing twelve maidens. Once the basket landed on the ground, the girls starting exiting the basket whilst singing celestial songs and dancing. One girl in particular, whom he called “Sky Girl”, caught Algon’s eye and he pursued her. The maidens saw him approaching, got alarmed, and ran back into the basket that ascended into the sky. Algon was distraught and could not get her out of his mind.
This same thing happened three more times, but Algon’s love for Sky Girl grew exponentially. He devised a plan to capture her and make her his wife: he would place a hollow tree stump near the center of the crop circle, inside this stump lived a family of mice. He took charms out of his medicine bag and turned himself into a mouse. The next time the maidens landed in the prarie, Algon (disguised as a mouse) and the mice family ran toward them. Scared, the girls started stomping on the mice, killing all but Algon, who resumed his true form and carried Sky Girl off.

She spoke to her father, the cheif of the sky people, about bringing Algon up in the sky to live with them. He agreed to let him, but under one condition: they had to return with Algon and one identifying feature of every creature of the earth. Sky Girl and her son returned to earth to inform Algon of the good news. Algon was so happy to see them and eager to gather all of the gifts the cheif wanted.
