The people living in this society have been taught that freedom to act actually tends to enslave one to sentimental and unessential vices and emotions. They believe if they are constantly embroiled in relationships, they are subject to the turmoil and unhappiness that they sometimes cause. To them, allowing themselves to become vulnerable is nearly the same as being imprisoned due to the negative feelings they associate with relationships. On top of relationships, entrepreneurs in the United States have the freedom to start their own businesses but at the same time are enslaved to the government as a result of all the rules and regulation put into place. For example, the government places thousands of regulations on restaurants to keep them up to government standard even if it is not in the best interest of the restaurant.
