Smart Goal Reflection
I have always set my goals in my mind only, focusing on the main goal, never considering smaller goals. Since I have become a student at GCU, this class has taught me a lot about motivation and goal setting, and how these skills work together. I like the smart goal chart, it has shed a lot of light on the task of goal setting. The chart allows me to see all goals in front of me on paper, and with the proper outline it helps me focus on one step at a time in acheiving my goals. I like the idea of setting smaller goals, and then rewarding myself as I accomplish each step on my way to accomplishing the main goal. I have learned when I take on smaller goals, and reward myself along the way, it motivates me to press on toward the main goal. I will

    To use goal setting a clear realistic goal needs to be set. "SMART" goals are the way to having great goals. S stands for specific as in the goal is detailed and will help you reach something you want to happen.
