Smartphones comparison Today with the development of technology we can own many cell phones or smartphones that are very modern and have many functions. I’m looking for a smartphone that I feel that phone is suitable for me. I consider 2 smartphones I choose. It’s the Apple iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S II. We will compare some features both of them such as: design, screen, processor and operating system so that I can choose a smartphones for me. The first thing I want compare the Apple iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S II are the designs of it. The Samsung Galaxy 2 weighs just 116g, and its dimension is 125x66x8 mm. The Apple iPhone 4s weighs 125g, and its dimension is 115x59x9 mm. Both the iPhone 4S and the Galaxy S II look elegant and chic. If compared on good-looks, the Samsung Galaxy S II is marginally better with remarkable thinness. In addition, the Galaxy S II is also lighter than the iPhone 4S (117 grams versus 140 grams), but its structures is longer and wider. This is quite understandable because Samsung uses less metal in the Galaxy S II design. Therefore, if you try to hold both of them, iPhone 4S will feel more steady. The second thing we want to compare is the screens of Galaxy S II and iPhone 4S. The screen of Samsung Galaxy S II is 4.27-inch, 800 x 480 px and has a 218ppi, Super AMOLED Plus and iPhone 4S is 3.5-inch, 960 x 640 px, 326ppi, LCD. Apparently, the screen of the Galaxy S II is bigger than apple iPhone 4S. If you put the two smartphones side by side, you'll see the difference that the Galaxy S II allows surfing and watching movies with the 4.27 inch screen. One of the most important features is the 4.3-inch WVGA AMOLED screen S2 Galaxy Super Plus. It is one of the brightest things I’ve ever seen. The screen of iPhone 4S is great, but the screen of Galaxy S II is greater. Another thing, we compare little bit about processor of it ( the Samsung Galaxy S II

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is bigger in size, has a resolution advantage and better contrast. The iphone’s 4-inch LCD is very small compared to the S4’s 5-inch Super AMOLED display. The S4 would make things easier to read without the need to zoom in. In addition, watching movies and video clips are more immersive on the S4. The S4 is also better than the iPhone 5s in terms of resolution, offering 1920 x 1080 pixels or 441 pixels per inch. The iPhone 5s offers a fairly sharp picture at 1136 x 640 pixels, the S4 with 326 pixels per inch. The thing that is better than the S4 when it comes to display is the brightness. When viewed outdoors, the S4’s display was harder to read, especially in direct sunlight. The iPhone 5′s image was brighter with a cooler color cast. Even though the iPhone 5s’ screen is easier to read outdoors, the Galaxy S4’s display wins because of its size and resolution advantage, as well as its better contrast.…

When it comes to comparing screen size and quality they both have decent features. The Iphone 4s has a higher LCD resolution level than most Android phones. Although the Iphone 4s has a higher LCD resolution the screen size is still that of the original size 3.5 inches. The level of brightness and clarity in the Iphone screen is much higher than the Android phones on the market. The Android phones have a larger screen than the Iphone 4s and make it easier to read text without having to zoom in. The colors and contrast that the Android phones have make watching movies better. The Android Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to have a HD display screen. Some customers prefer a larger screen while others prefer more detailed images.…

Not only do cell phones contribute to one’s personal life, but business use as well. Most people have hectic lives, and using a device to help schedule appointments, send out mass text messages, or even remind you to call back your boss, is unimaginably convenient. Cell phones within the past five years have reached mile stones compared to the phones used back when cell phones were first invented. Even though there is still a diverse range for cell phones on the market, the two most popular brands seem to create an argument on choosing the right phone, Apple and Android. Each with impressively fast processors, and new and innovative technology, there brings up a valid question, which brand is right for you?…

Apple may not have launched the iPhone 5 everybody was hoping for in October, but the device they unveiled has nonetheless had a major impact. On the surface, the iPhone 4S appears to be just another slight iteration in the iPhone product line, and in a sense it is. Its camera is slightly better and its processor faster than that of the iPhone 4. The screen resolution is the same, as is the amount of memory and the physical design of the device.…

This report is evaluating the Samsung Galaxy S1 and use Apple iPhone4 as a comparison. In this report, heuristic evaluation method is used to evaluate Samsung Galaxy S1. I choose heuristic evaluation method instead of other methods because heuristic evaluation is easy to use as the observed problems are being explained by the established usability principle. It is also a better method for finding both major and minor problems in the human user interface when compared to other evaluation methods. It beings with the methodology and the heuristics utilities used in this report.…

I staunchly speculate that Deez Nuts will be victorious in the 2016 election. Deez Nuts (real name Brady C. Olson) is a satirical candidate running in the 2016 United States presidential election. His form to run for office was filed with the Federal Election Commission in late July 2015.[2] In polls conducted by Public Policy Polling in Iowa, Minnesota and North Carolina in mid-August 2015, he polled at 8, 8 and 9 percent respectively, garnering the attention of the media.[3][4] On October 11, 2015, Deez Nuts announced on his Facebook page his intention to run for Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, citing his eligibility despite not being a member of the House itself and the scarcity of candidates.…

The iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 are identical in a number of ways. To begin with, both phones are smartphones. Smartphones are all touchscreen; if the phone is not touchscreen then it is not considered a smartphone. In addition, all smartphones must have a data package bought with the phone; both of these smartphones are run on a 4G LTE data speed. Also smartphones are usually bought with a carrier to hold a contract for the phone; the two of these smartphones are available at all carrier stores. For example, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all have these two phones are available to be purchased. The only major difference with these two phones is the company that makes them. The iPhone 5 is made by apple, whereas the Galaxy S4 is made by Google.…

    Evaluation of Cell Phones

    • 4 Pages

A good cell phone maintains great service and is very reliable. Service is a must because the primary reason for having a cell phone is being able to keep in contact with others at all times. The iPhone has great service due to its capability of having 3G, 4G, and LTE service all at once. Other phones are usually not nearly as advanced and can only have service speeds of up to 4G. IPhones are known for their dependability because Apple is easily one of the smartest and most valued companies to feature cell phones. Another great reason the iPhone is reliable is because of how the phone has grown in the past several years. The iPhone is now on its 5th generational model, excluding the amped up versions such as the S or C, and doesn’t have any of the problems the previous may have.…

Over the last decade, electronic-based companies such as Samsung and Apple have collaborated with cellular-phone carriers, and have studied the average consumer to find endless ways to improve the cellular phone. As a result, the smart phone was born. With their ability to provide users with instant access to communication, entertainment, Internet access, calendar, news, social media, and much more, the smart phone revolutionized and shifted the path of modern technology. In 2006, Apple began this revolution with their release of the iPhone. Being the first proper smart phone, many other companies attempted to mimic the unbeatable features and technology that Apple had included with the iPhone. Though many had failed in doing so, Google managed to keep up with the iPhone with their Android software. Soon enough, Google’s Android software became the dominant smart phone based software for smart phones not manufactured by Apple. Because of this, Android phones had become just as popular as iPhones. This paper will explore the similarities and differences between both Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android.…
