Smoking in Public Places
In some country people are no longer allowed to smoke in many public places and office buildings. Do you think it is a good rule or bad rule? Use specific reasons and details to support your position.

Earth is a good creation of God. So this is our duty to make it beautiful. If our surrounding is good and has no pollution then we feel happy and have a good health. A person who is healthy has good ideas. In my opinion I would like to say if smoking is not allowed in public places and office buildings then it is a good rule. There are many reasons behind this. They are as follows:

In my view, smoking is not good for health. If a person who has the habit of smoking then he or she can have breathing, lungs and heart problems. The smoke of cigarette is also very harmful for health. If people smoke in public places then it is not only injurious for the smoker but also for others who do not smoke. For a healthy life, smoking is not good. The smoke of cigarette has toxic metals like Cadmium. If human body contains excess of cadmium then it creates many health problems like bone and heart diseases. For the safety of humans it is necessary to ban smoking in public and office buildings.

For a good and healthy generation, ban on smoking in public places and office building is also necessary. If there is a ban then chain smokers cannot smoke and they will be safe. A lady who is pregnant and has the habit of smoking then a ban can be helpful for her child’s health. It is very important for the baby.

Sometimes people can also save their money with the help of ban on smoking. People can use this money in other works. For instances, if people save money then they donate or eat healthy food. People who are allergic to smoke do not like smoking in offices and public places. These people do not feel good if any one smokes. As a good person, smokers’ should be careful and give the preference for others convenience. People can also increase their business if smoking is bane

Smoking cigarettes can cause lung problems. Both first-hand and second-hand smokers are affected by cigarette smoke. Scientific findings and researches show that the chemicals in cigarettes, apart from the smoke, can lead to health problems such as lung cancer. Smoking cigarettes should be banned in public places. In public places, more people, both young and old, can be exposed to the smoke from cigarettes. My position differs from those who might say that smoking altogether should not be banned. My position is that smoking in public places should be banned. It does not include smoking in private places like homes. Smoking in public places should be banned because it poses health risks to individuals who are non-smokers and who do not want to inhale the fumes from cigarettes. The risks are double to those who already have lung ailments.…

Smoking should be illegal. Primarily the smoker’s lungs are permanently damaged. Also second hand smoke is by far the worst type of inhalation of smoke. Many say that smoking is a freedom. But should the government allow people to kill each other in order to be “free”. Our health should not be in danger if we want to be free. Also many teenagers who try cigarettes have a higher rate of violent offenses and, are more likely to be addicted to this horrendous drug. Therefore cigarettes should be prohibited from production.…

There are many reasons why smoking in public should be banned. The three main reasons to ban smoking in public are because of the health risks, offensive smell, and environmental risks that are the cause of cigarette smoke. Secondhand smoke is smoke from a cigarette, cigar, or pipe that is involuntarily inhaled, especially by non-smokers (The American Heritage Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, n.d.). In many public places smoking is allowed and is not fair because non-smokers are exposed to chemicals that can harm them internally and externally. Children for example, are chronic victims of secondhand smoke. The inhalation of cigarette smoke that can harm people nearby is called passive smoking (Pros Vs. Cons, 2007, p.1). Also cigarette smoke can make non-smokers agitated by the smell of cigarette smoke, which is not very pleasant. Also the environment is tainted by the hazardous chemicals, which can cause permanent scars on the earth. For the most part, smoking in public should be banned to help decreases its negative affects.…

Smoking should be banned in all public places to protect people from second-hand smoke and stop promoting the visual to minors. The cigarette is a small but deadly habit enjoyed by 45.3 million Americans. Smoking is illegal inside most public restaurants and buildings as well as on school property. But, why should cigarette smoking be banned in all public spaces, including outside public establishments? The most obvious reason is second-hand smoke and the damage it causes to others who don 't want to be exposed to cigarette smoke. A ban on all public smoking would improve the air quality in each town, spare people from smoke exposure, decrease the overall amount of smoking, and make it less visible to children and teens as an accepted norm. The negative effects of second-hand smoke are scientifically documented and provide a valid reason for banning all public smoking.…

Many leading medical and scientific organizations recognize second hand smoke as a cause of a range of life-threatening conditions. I remember that when I was child, I saw one public service announcement in the television that was performed by Yul Brynner, who was an actor of "The King and I". In an announcement, he said, "If I hadn't had smoking the cigarette, I would not have talked to you smoking was hazardous the health". An announcement was played after he had died in lung cancer, which was caused by smoking. This announcement gave me deeply impression that cigarette was harmful our health absolutely. However, how many people agree this? Everyday, we hear much news about the people who die from the cancer, which is caused by smoking or passive smoke. It is obvious that smoking not only affects the health of smokers, but also harms other people who are not smoking. So, many people think government should ban the smoking in public place. However, this issue always provides a lot of controversy. Some people say "Yes", some people say "No". Now, we are going to examine what opinion the people have in this issue.…

It is generally accepted that smoking is bad for health. However, it is pity that rather than putting a ban on it. The government instead is imposing even higher taxes on it. This is simply because first of all banning tobacco, cigarettes would mean that these products will also lead to a loss of revenue in form of Excise duty and VAT tax for the government, and unemployment for lakhs.…
