Smoking Writing
My creative writing piece
Have you ever seen anyone dying from smoking? I have
Stop! Stop! Stop! Put a stop to smoking because it can kill people from the inside and the outside by which I mean the environment. A cigarette is like fire it can burn a person from the inside.
First of all, smokers can inhale as much smoke and tar as they want in a day and legally there is no limit to this when there is a limit on the speed of a car and no limit on how much smokers are taking in and damaging their health. A person under the age of 18 is not allowed to buy cigarettes in the U.K as it so illegal for them to do so. A smoking age is also set in the U.K which is 16 years old but the parents or someone older has to purchase the cigarettes for them. Most teenagers just go to the corner shops and buy all the cigarettes and lighters that they need even though psychotically it can be dangerous because it is proven that most teenagers don’t think about what their actions can lead them to and they just do it. At an average 1,300 people die every day from smoking around the world and it is proven by science that people who smoke die 10 years earlier than a non-smoker because smoking is a destructive plague.
Furthermore, when smokers get ill or have rotten teeth they have to go to the doctors and spend the NHS money on their needs which they have caused their selves, this money that is spent on them could have been spent on a person who has a better cause of illness. The environment also gets damaged from the smoke that is being let out people’s mouth and if someone is walking past it is worse for them because they get the germs from the cigarette and also the smoker. There is always a picture on the packet showing what smoking can do to the body but still people care about no harm for their needs. Some people smoke to show off that they are old enough are the chavs of the area and other do it to show off that they are posh and can afford good cigarettes with the posh lighters.
First time when I noticed this problem was when all of my friends who were 15 used to go and buy cigarettes from the corner shops and they used to smoke them at every lunch time and they would even run out of school because they used to crave for them. This also caused many fights and broke the friendships that were there for years and years of their lives. All of my friends that smoked had a history in their family of smoking some of their parents smoked whilst some of their brothers and sisters who are older than them. This problem is getting worse because the 14, 15 and 16 year olds have too much freedom to do whatever they want and they can do anything whenever they want as their parents can’t get control over them. In addition, some of their parents who know that their children are smoking before the age the parents provide the cigarettes for them because if they say no to their children the only thing children would say is that “why do you want us to stop smoking when you smoke?”
If this carries on in the future it can get worse because when smoking the lungs can get damaged

History can prove that the consciousness of fertility can cause females to flaunt just how fertile they are to the proper mating pool through ornamentation. It was researched through the observation of mating rituals in birds. Females are known to lavishly decorate their nests with flowers, leaves and the best twigs they can find just to attract a suitable mate. Although the studies and observations can prove that females tend to make themselves stand out to a partner, yet, there is still the question of why. In a study (Hasleton, Mortezie, Pillsworth, Bleske-Rechek, Fredrick 2007) has come up with a study on ornamentation and how it is affected by shifts in the ovulatory cycle. Hasleton et al. (2007) hypothesizes “that changes in women’s motivations manifest themselves in changes in self-ornamentation through attentive personal grooming and attractive choice of dress.” thus a woman is more motivated to go out and find a man once they have adorned themselves in the proper dress that makes them feel attractive.…

Opinion wise speaking, I think smoking is not just arrogant, rude and ill-mannered. To think that these people are killing themselves gradually without them knowing it is truly sad. You will always seem to find that one person who becomes really selfish as to throw away their money and (life) towards tobacco or cigarettes that could care less about their children. Not only does smoking give children a negative influence, but it also puts them at risk of health problems like asthma. Nonetheless, that’s’ just the smokers, there have being a rising concern for passive smoking, earlier I talked about parents smoking in front of their children; this is just one more reason why they shouldn’t. Research has shown that non smokers (including children) can as well suffer lots and lots of diseases in mostly secondary schools today; smoking has become very surprisingly fashionable. Children, teenagers get pressurised into literally killing themselves because they think its ‘cool’; whereas it’s not.…

The Center for disease Control reports that cigarette smoke causes more than 480,000 deaths each year in the United States. This is about one in five deaths. The center adds that smoking causes more deaths every year than Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), illegal drug use, alcohol use, motor vehicle injuries, and firearm- related incidents. With this being a known fact there are still smokers in today’s world. The question that should be asked is why do people smoke cigarettes despite their proven dangers? Smoking cannot only damage or bring harm to every organ in the human body, but it can cause countless diseases. If people just stopped smoking altogether, they would decrease the risk of smoke-related diseases and most importantly…

Smoking, don’t you just hate it! Don't get me started on smokers too! What is the point in spending hundreds or even thousands of pounds a year on a box of pointless cigarettes? Smokers may as well throw all the money they own down the drain! A better more cleaver idea would be to save the money and buy something more useful and maybe go on a well-deserved holiday!. You’ll always seem to find that one selfish, lowlife of a person who constantly throws their money toward tobacco, cigarettes or even weed and couldn't care less about their own family or friends. And if you smoke around young children not only does it give them a negative influence, but it also puts them at the risk of health problems like cancer, which will most likely kill you or your child.…
