The Book Jesus Creed for Students abides by one rule and one rule only. This rule is to love God with all of your heart. It seeks to shape the lives of students and young adults and their morals. The book focuses on a few points like loving ourselves. It explores different meanings and views of our father. One of the reasons why we have to love ourselves is because if we wanted to seek God we have to be happy with ourselves first or else there really isn’t a chance for us to be able to teach the wonderful things that God does for us and the love that he has for us. We often wonder why we praise to the man we do, in this book; we see findings to this meaning and the characteristics of what it means to take these words of Christ earnestly.
God calls upon us to seek him and worship him with all of our heart and soul and by that he expects us to be able to share that greatness of spirituality that he gives us once we let him into our hearts. The fundamental characteristic of a person who is morally shaped is that a person loves God, by following Jesus, and loves others. God wants us to be able to spread his word and preach it to those who are in need of a drastic change in their life for something better. We also see Gods’ love for us on how He’s a forgiving father. We all sin with or without God in our hearts and all God wants is for us to go to him for forgiveness and ask him to change us. The question really is how is your FAITH with God? By faith we shall receive and by making the right choices or decisions God will bless us. The book also mentions, “You can’t love God and love others and spend your time hating and judging others. You have to choose a kingdom love-style of life.” God wants us to make priorities in our lives and in those priorities that we may chose we must put him first. By being faithful to him he will do the same in return and bless us even more in our lives. We have to be disciplined in his word and how we come upon
