Soccer Uniforms: A Short Story
Dad is in car with four children, who are dressed in matching soccer uniforms. They are in route to the soccer game. Dad gets a phone call from mom.
“Hello.” Pause
“Hi Honey. Of course, I told you. I have everything under control.” Dad chuckles nervously then Pause
Sarcastically “Yes dear, I got the snack. All of their favorites.” Then Pause
“Love you. See you there my little snickerdoodle.” Dad hangs up the phone in panic and speeds to the nearest Aldi grocery store.
