2. Stressors are the way that our mind and body deals with the stress. Depending on if the stress is chronic or acute. As well as how everything around us affects our stress. The two main source of stress both come from social stress. The first main stressor is life events. Life events such as the loss of a job or loved one. The second main stressor is chronic strains. Chronic strains can be recognized as having a relationship with the cause of the stress and always going on and off with the stress. The social gradient model is comparing how the health status of one relates to their socioeconomic status. The threshold model shows how in the beginning once the income is going up the health goes up as well. Once there reaches a certain income the health starts to stay the same. Seen on the threshold model there is a poverty line. When you see the comparison between the left and right side of the poverty line and look to their health there isn’t much difference. The social gradient model interprets to, better income better health. Than you have the threshold model that challenges their model because there is no difference in health as the income
