It seems like you can get everything online, but what would be highly effective? Items that would be highly effective are items that are in high demand. In addition, goods and services related to travel would be highly effective so consumers can plan ahead. Between Marketplace on Facebook and websites, I could think of times I witnessed seeing products or services on even the weirdest items. Maybe not all of these items would sell well but they might sell. If we are talking about items you would not want to ship, heavy or fragile items, time sensitive items, items you should have licensing for, and living creatures would be items you would not want to sell online. I decided that if Amazon does not sell something, it is not the type of goods you want to sell online. Fotrell (2013), listed ten products and services that you cannot get on Amazon; some of these items are guns, animals, alcohol, real-estate, lottery tickets, fuel, and prescriptions. I can agree that these items should be ineffectively sold online.

They can order groceries from their kitchen table and have them show up at their door. I think a big concern for seniors is the safety of their credit card and the difficulty they have with websites. Easy to use apps would be ideal for seniors. Gustke (2016), also suggests that businesses sponsor classes to teach seniors how to use technology. Reger (2014), says "seniors are a diverse audience with different wants and needs". Businesses that have seniors as a target market need to ensure their websites and apps are easy to use and senior friendly.
