Important Factors of Facebook
Facebook is a part of social networking, that everyone like regardless of age, gender and occupation. Social networking is becoming important part of student’s life; students could use Facebook to keep in touch with friends, family even with classmates discussing homework or group projects. The article “Facebook Addiction Spreads” by Angela Fowler is a great article points out some important facts about social media, also Michael Bugeja’s article “Facing The Facebook” has some facts that should be considered.
According the article” Facing The Facebook,” written by Michael Bugeja, Facebook is well known all over the world especially in different states of United States. Facebook ranks highest overall traffic on the internet generally. Bugeja also points out, Facebook is a source of communication it’s a directory that many students, professors and administrators are using it. Facebook connects students throughout the campuses and many students are urged to constantly use it. The effect of social networking touches every aspect of academic. The faculty members tried their best to stop students from improper use of technology because Academic professional’s claim that technology is distraction in classroom.
In the article “Facebook addiction spreads” Angela Fowler mentions that Facebook is addictive it is a disease that most likely no one is lucky enough to be safe from it; she claims students who are addicted to Facebook have lower grades and sleep less. Facebook is a time waste which registration is simply easy, students can even use their college Email address to join, add friends in Facebook, view profiles that are common interest with her/him, and it is even possible to meet new people from other colleges in Facebook. In Facebook everyone know everyone, you can even see the person sitting next to you in class connected to somebody else. You can use Facebook as long as you want .The author
