In the Knight’s Tale the women would tell you to do one thing and then turn and tell you to do something else. Jocelyn didn’t obey anyone that tried to tell her what to do and she wouldn’t put up with it. But in the middle aged women alternative to a married life. They assisted their husbands in business and anything else that needed to be done. Middle ages women were totally dominated by the male members of their family. The middle ages women had to obey not only their father, but everyone including her brother’s and any other male members of the family. Any unruly girls were beaten and no one was beaten in A Knight’s Tale at all.in the movie, women was always looked down
