INTRODUCTION
Alcohol is a social drug which is classed as a depressant, meaning that it slows down vital functions resulting in slurred speech, unsteady movement, disturbed perceptions and an inability to react quickly. It affects the mind in such a way that it reduces a person’s ability to think rationally and distorts his or her judgment.
Since alcohol consumption is legal persons tend to absorb great quantities, without considering the consequences, which this action may bring. Most times, several automobile accidents occurred are as a result of the over usage of alcohol and alcoholic beverages.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Are the students in my school are consuming alcoholic beverages? If so what are these beverages? To what level do they drink/consume these alcoholic drinks? Where do they buy and how do they afford to buy them?
METHOD OF INVESTIGATION
