Madeline was employed as a Marketing and Events Coordinator at Savvy Ladies, a New York City based non-profit organization with a mission to provide free financial literacy programs for women. Her tenure at the organization was both productive and positive.
Madeline took on a number or responsibilities for planning and expediting an annual fundraising event, as well as day to day responsibility for implementing our social media program. It is within this context that I am able to evaluate Madeline’s performance and personal attributes.
Madeline is a conscientious and positive person. Her willingness to complete
tasks independently was appreciated and I trusted her to complete her assignments and check-in when needed. Madeline was disciplined in her approach to her tasks and a dependable employee. Madeline is naturally drawn to people, she has an openness about her that puts others at ease. Time and again, she demonstrated her respect for others, by engaging fellow staff, and volunteers in an effort to accomplish the goals of the organization. Her energy was a nice addition to our team.
In observing Madeline over these past years, I trust that her decision to pursue a degree in Clinical Social Work is a well thought out one. She has a maturity beyond her years and in my opinion Madeline would succeed in this field.
I found Madeline to be intelligent, articulate, and genuine. I have every confidence that Madeline will excel at Smith, her intellect, compassion and sense of community will serve her well as she pursues an advanced degree in Clinical Social Work.
I would be pleased to call her a colleague one day!
