On one hand, socialism strongly establishes equality amongst all individuals. This would play a vital role in wages and gender discrimination within the workplace. Socialism also entails public education and the importance of all citizens having public education up to a certain level by making it affordable. Although this might would decrease the value of an education and break the border between those less educated, it would be much easier to find qualified workers for the job. Another positive outcome of operating a business under a socialistic government is how socialism ensures equal healthcare amongst all citizens. Socialism is very financially straining on a nation. Between welfare, public education, healthcare, and the overall right to an equal and normal livelihood among all citizens, comes very high government spending. This could lead to debt in the country, which would not be a great thing for businesses. It overall can lead to the rich people getting richer and the poor people getting poorer, which would not help the monetary standing of the individual businesses; when there is a financial crisis, people are not wanting to spend money which will hurt the businesses. The government also would own the cash flow from the businesses, which would risk the money being used for inefficient projects that would result in losing more money. In addition, socialism also can make the entire country and it’s citizens very lazy. Because equality is so strongly forced in this type of government, the ambition of citizens greatly declines because people do not feel the need to work hard to earn a living; when most everything is handed to them through the government, there is little for the average person to work towards and strive for.
