Despite his low IQ, Forrest Gump leads a truly charmed life, taking part in many of the most memorable events in his lifetime. Meanwhile, as his life goes by, Forrest never forgets about Jenny, the girl he loved since a boy. Jenny makes her own journey through the 1960s and 1970s in a far more troubled way than Forrest did. Towards the end, he finds out that Jenny had their child and is struggling to make ends meet, Forrest takes care of Jenny and little Forrest until her death and after. People of the south tend to have different cultural differences than people of the north and can identify with one another with in their boundaries. The people of slow paced Greenbow are not used to any kind of change or someone who is considered different than the norm. For example, in this movie Forrest, along with many of the people he interacts with have a southern accent and use slang that is used mainly in his social group.
