The two in the marriage used their skills of logic and ethics which was influenced by Socrates himself. This led the two into epistemology as well, their discussion in the text showed how they would acquire the things in life if they were to have children and etc.
In “The Making of the West Peoples and Cultures, Volume 1, Socrates on Ethics” it explains how Socrates is perceived as one of the founders of Western Philosophy through his charismatic attitude and recognizable followers and students he had. Most importantly, it elaborates the full effect of what the Socratic Method is. Socrates was very different compared to everyone; He was seen as sophist, however he never offered courses or receive any type of pay for his ethics.
In a way he’s very caught up in liberalism and questioned people about their beliefs.
