It explains in this story the person who Miep was and how much good stuff she did for the Franks. It states in the excerpt by Miep, “ Each day I brought a few of the things that Henk and I had taken from the Merwedeplein the night before the Franks had gone into hiding,” This supports taking action because Miep and her husband Henk would bring the Franks some of their belongings, so they would not miss their home. Miep would take action whenever the Franks needed food or anything. It states in the story, “Each morning, first thing, when there was a lull at the office, I’d tiptoe upstairs and get a shopping list from Mrs. Frank. She would give me money or I would take money from the cash box downstairs, to be replaced later.” This supports taking action because if Miep didn’t take action the Frank’s would of starved to death. This shows how taking action in some situations can benefit people by a lot.
Although some people agree with taking action as beneficial, some people disagree. The people disagree because in The Boy and The Striped Pajamas, Bruno took action by giving his best friend Shmuel food, but he got into trouble.
