Significant Memory Memories affect people throughout their lifetime. I was affected with a tragic memory that left me with a scar on the right side of my stomach. This scar is a memory I just cannot forget. The reason why I can't forget about it is because my scar came with a painful reality . I was 11 years old , constantly throwing up for fourteen hours and clueless about what was wrong with me. My parents finally rushed me to the hospital and patiently waited in a room for the doctor’s results on my condition. Nervous to see my results the doctor walked in with a bad look on his face.
My scar isn't like the average scar that is closed up, sealed or unnoticeable I am not going to lie. My scar looks like a worm. It has a pinkish look. It’s a small scar but it pops up which it make’s it very noticeable if I am shirtless. I've been carrying this scar for the past 7 years. A few bad memories I carry with this scar is waking up with mulitple loud coughing at 3 in the morning, throwing up on my bed , rushing to the bathroom with diarrhea during the day , having sharp stomach aches and having headaches that made me so dizzy that I didn’t have the strength to walk. As hours went by , I was clueless about my situation. I was drinking tea that my mom made for me . I thought the pain would go away but it only made me feel worse. Later, when I was shirtless, I tried not to look at my scar. It was the first week of the summer before the sixth grade. I had just turned eleven years old. I was enjoying my summer hanging out with my friends, running around, and being athletic. Me thinking I’m in the perfect condition I was wrong. I woke up one Saturday morning at 3 coughing very loudly for multiple times. I then threw up on my bed sheets. My mom quickly ran into my room to see what was going on. She saw what happened and told me to clean it up . While I was cleaning the vomit off my sheets, she went downstairs to the kitchen
