In a nutshell, there are at least 25 key points that President Noynoy Aquino tackled in his fourth State of the Nation Address or SONA:

(9) Amendment of SSS Pension Scheme
(10) Strengthening the police force
(11) Probe into Ozamiz Gang killing
(12) Mindanao peace process
(13) More caution in government contracts
(14) Removal of informal settlers from high-risk areas
(15) Sin Tax Reform and Responsible Parenthood laws
(16) Proposed 2014 National Budget
(17) Possible MRT/LRT fare hike
(18) Improved irrigation system for farmers
(19) Public-Private Partnership projects

We, Filipino’s are struggling in the middle of 2013. Having 98 598 703 (current population as of July 27, 2013; timed 2:57pm), it’s hard for our President to handle this large number of people if the number of corruption is also growing. According to Prof. Saquibal, “if the country’s economic keep growing, the corruption follows also” (I don’t know if that’s what exactly he says but that’s what he meant). For me, I can’t feel that we’re actually growing. As you can see and experience by the PUJ drivers, the rapid increase in the gasoline prices keep growing. And it’s hard for our fellowmen to keep up with that because as the price of petroleum increase other products follow.
