Fifth SONA of President Benigno “Nonoy” Aquino III
In the first part of the speech of President Benigno “Nonoy” Aquino III on his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA), he started his speech by recalling the problems he inherited from the past administration, The main topic of his speech is all about the achievements and accomplishments since he was elected as President of the Philippines.
He cited all the projects he have done in his administration. He mention the financial programs for the Filipinos who have been hit by the typhoons and other calamity disaster. He also mention about the financial assistance for the students for the scholarship program.
He mention the private companies that keep and conserve rice, and priced it higher than the original price, he warn the manufactures that if time comes that when the government caught that they conserve rice, they will be prison in jail.
He also mention all new materials and equipments for the modernization of Arm Forces of the Philippines, like the airplanes, ships, and other modern equipments use for war. And he also state about the new technology developed, use to monitor the weather in order to avoid damage when typhoon hit our country.
During the last minutes of his SONA, Pnoy voice broke as he looks close to tears while recalling the memory of his parents. But at last he promised that he will continue all the projects and programs that he made for the continuation of good result and in order to increase the econmy of Philippines.
As President Noynoy delivers his fifth State of the Nation Address , he and his administration are facing these yet-unresolved issues, the impeachment complaints, territorial dispute, pork barrel scam, poverty, traffic wos, agriculture challenges, crime, and power problems. I concluded that the problem mainly rest with the actual people/citizens. I mean, few really care enough to attempt change. If change take research, effort, sacrifice, money or anything that will effect the individual, well simply not happen. Everyone knows about graft and corruption. Who knows, those person may be part of it. Yet, how to make change is rather hard but not impossible. Most nations have experienced similar forms of corruption in their infancy. Almost in all cases the people got fed up and an actual leader that cared came in and cleaned house. The problem again is the people. Sadly most talk but are unwilling to get involved. Not to the level that is necessary for real change. AVIEGAYLEE.SABRA

That was the famous promise of General Douglas MacArthur to the Philippines before leaving for Australia. When Filipinos come to think of it, there are some who have probably forgotten him or possibly did not know what he did for us at all. Having been given the task to write about the American rule in the Philippines, I have decided to concentrate on writing about what General MacArthur did for the Philippines during World War II.…

Arthur Miller is recognized as an important and influential playwright, not to mention essayist and novelist. Although he has had plenty of luck in his writing career, his fame is the product of his ingenious ability to control what he wants his readers to picture or feel. As one of his critics states, "Miller writes ingeniously, conveying the message that if the proper study of mankind is man, man's inescapable problem is himself (Brown, 306).'" Miller accurately puts into words what every person thinks, feels, or worries about, but often has trouble expressing. By the use of symbolism, Arthur Miller portrays Willy's (along with the other Lowmans') problems with family life, the society, and himself in Death of a Salesman.…

His death was the root and the very cause of the first ever Filipino movement, it made them prove or even people across the globe, that we, Filipinos can unite and fight for what we think is right. And so, it should be our motivation that we should also act and move as one if there’s another problem still yet to come. The movement also proved, that we can still be united, and I hope that in years to come, if there will be a problem that needs our unity to resolved, we can still act like that.…

According to the present president Benigno Aquino III, as we move forward along the straight and righteous path, they have continuously planted and nurtured the seeds of reform with the annual Budgets enacted under this present Administration. They have prioritized the people’s most urgent needs in order to genuinely and efficiently address poverty and inequality. They proposed P2.006-trillion National Budget for 2013 which 10.5 percent higher than this year’s budget of P1.816 trillion. This Budget pursues empowerment by creating more opportunities for public participation in governance. It invests significantly in the people’s capabilities by prioritizing funding for public services that provide jobs, educate our youth, ensure a healthier citizenry, and empower each Filipino to participate in economic activity. To ensure the swift fulfillment of our Social Contract, the administration has adopted policy measures to help national agencies accelerate their completion of priority program targets. They have to utilize our funds in a manner that is faster and more efficient, so that we can accomplish our critical programs and projects ahead of time. They have designated the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) as the principal infrastructure agency. This means that they will take charge of the timely implementation of critical infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges, classrooms, rural health facilities, farm-to-market roads, bridges for agrarian reform communities and tourism access roads, as well as other projects…
