Song Lyrics
Song Lyrics “No such thing as a life that's better than yours No such thing as a life that's better than yours No such thing as a life that's better than yours No such thing, no such thing Heart beating' fast, let a boy know that he alive Fake boys mad, snakes Snakes in the grass let a boys know that he arrive Don't be sleeping' on your level cause its beauty in the struggle boy Goes for all y'all It's beauty in the struggle boy (Let me explain) It's beauty in the struggle , ugliness in the success Hear my words or listen to my signal of distress I grew up in the city and though sometimes we had less Compared to some of my boys down the block man we were blessed And life can't be no fairytale, no once upon a time”. These are a piece of lyrics from one of my favorite song by J Cole. These lyrics have many meanings and are special to anyone and should be listen to. This song is title Love Yours. The song talks about a person individual life and the way they live. He also talks about struggle and people trying to harm your success. He also talks about how we take what we have for granted. Last he talks about how people make life to be a fairytale. These are great lyrics and you can apply them to your life. When he talks about loving yours he is meaning your hometown and your own individual life. He is talking about if you just love your life for what it is you’ll make it better and you want dwell. Then he mention about people trying to harm your success. You will always have people who try to say you can’t do something but you have to eliminate them from your life or ignore them. But when we reach these goals or if not you have to be humble with what you got and realize that you always have something better than someone else and we have to realize that and not complain on what we don’t have. Last don’t believe in fairy tale lives. If you believe everything will be perfect and nothing will go wrong you are wrong that is what he is trying to say. Even though we dream

    Catcher in the Rye Song

After looking at quite a few songs and their lyrics, I found that the song “Yesterday” by the Beatles represented well a few of Holden’s situations on The Catcher in the Rye. The song expresses the emotions Holden feels for Jane. In The Catcher in the Rye, Holden remembers the relationship he once had with Jane and how it was so simple, and how happiness came so easily when he was with her. Like on page 79 of the novel, Holden says, "You never even worried with Jane... All you knew was, you were happy” The lyrics in the song also say "Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play." It was so easy for Holden before, but now he struggles to enjoy relationships with girls and he misses the past when love was only about being happy. The thought of Jane dating someone else drives him crazy, so when he finds out that Stradlater was out with Jane, and that they were in Ed Bankey’s car together, he runs away from school alone. The line "Now I need a place to hide away" in the song represents that situation pretty well. After Holden realizes that all the happy times he had with Jane are in the past and always will be, he gets really sad and wants to hide from the world, and he hopes to hold on to his memory of "yesterday." I believe that the song "Yesterday" represents really well Holden's feelings for the past when Jane and him were together.…

The song starts out with a strang questioning of reality: “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality, Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see”. They first two lines are rhetorical questions. They help establish the state of mind needed in order to continue with the song. The third line is a metaphor. It means everything is crashing down on him, and he cannot escape it. It seems to conclude that he is caught between a dream and awakening. The next couple set of lines are being used as transitions into the main part of stanza one, “I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy, Because I’m easy come, easy go, Little high, little low, Any way the wind blows, Doesn’t really matter to me, to me”. In the third and fourth line repetition is used in order to keep the lyrics flowing. The boy thinks his life doesn’t matter to anyone, his life is meaningless and the Earth does not care what happens to him. He does not care what happens next, he just wants it over; “any way the wind blows” him, he will go and it “doesn’t really matter” to him anymore. The next three lines show intent to kill by the boy, “Mama, just killed a man, Put a gun against his head, Pulled my trigger, now he’s dead”. The boy has finally come to terms of what he has…

The lyrics of the pop song, “Stronger”, by Kelly Clarkson, is highly significant because of its empowering message. The lyrics allow listeners to feel confident about being strong no matter what or who may try to bring someone down, even if it were their own mistakes. To convey this message, Clarkson used many literary devices. For example, in lines like, “What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, Stand a little taller” there is external rhyme, which makes the song more pleasurable to the ears. Its chorus, “What doesn't kill you makes you stronger” is a metaphor, that refers to the fact the previous mistakes and people that hurt one’s feelings, should making them stronger. The theme of these lyrics is that there needs to be growth…

Lieder ohne Worte (Song without Words) is written by the Romantic composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. It is a collection of forty-eight short lyrical piano pieces of markedly song-like character that he wrote at various periods of his life between 1809 and 1847. They are well suited to the study of musical form because of their artistic value. Op. 19b, No. 1 Andante con moto in E major was written in 1830 and is the first in the collection. The piece is in the key of E major and modulates from E to B to G major.…
