Sometimes taking a chance on something is necessary because it inspires you to change as a person. For example, in the movie Soul Surfer, Bethany Hamilton has a difficult choice to make. After being attacked by a shark, she has to decide whether she wants to get back into the water or stay away from the ocean forever. She decides to take a chance on herself and get back into surfing which leads her to become a pro-surfer despite the fact that she only has one arm. Bethany changes into a girl that is determined after she takes the chance to get back into the water. Another example of someone taking a chance and changing as a result is the pop star Justin Beiber. Before he became such a massive superstar, he got his big break on the internet
