I. Introduction
Since Spain enters to the European Union in 1986, his economy has been changing, due to the conditions imposed in the various sectors of its economy. In the last 25 years, has experienced a period of rapid growth followed by a very deep crisis.
Before the economic crisis of 2007, Spain was the EU´s “economic miracle” and now is the EU member state with the highest unemployment rate amongst other serious problems. Spain is now being subjected to tough austerity policies to deal the with the crisis and because of the problem of its indebtedness, particularly its high level of external debt. Spain´s integration in the EU and the Eurozone has played a major role in the boom and deep crisis.1
From its entry, the EU has made significant progress in the unification process by strengthening the political and social ties among its citizens; Spain, throughout this process has been characterized as one of the leading countries in the implementation of liberalization measures.
Spain´s entry supposed an end of a political isolation period and served to consolidate the recent Spanish democratic system. In social, Spain strove to create a welfare state. European social funds financed actions in support to unemployed people, education, health service, immigration, social
