Introduction
I choose to write about the Spain for our English A course project work because the country has always interested me due to its beautiful soccer and spectral climate.
I would rather call Spain the country of soccer, since two of the world’s best soccer teams are there; Barcelona and Real Madrid. But there is more to it; the summer of course.
Travel to Spain would be a great experience for me since I have heard a lot about the country from friends and seen amazing pictures.
Besides the soccer, the country climate is one of the reasons I’d like to visit Spain for.
They have a subtropical climate with wild winters and beautiful summers.
Through this project work my knowledge will increase about this country, and the subjects I will bring up will be:
* Geography & Climate
* History and Language
* Politics & Money
* Population & Famous People
* Interesting places to visit
* Traditions

    Why Is Madrid Important

    • 279 Words

    Madrid's status as the national capital mirrors the unifying approach of the sixteenth century Spanish lord Philip II and his successors. The decision of Madrid, be that as it may, was likewise the consequence of the city's past indefinite quality and nonpartisanship; it was picked in light of the fact that it needed ties with a built-up non-royal force, instead of view of any vital, geographic, or financial contemplations. Without a doubt, Madrid is insufficient in different attributes that may qualify it for a main role. It doesn't lie on a noteworthy waterway, as such a large number of European urban communities do. Madrid does not have mineral stores or other riches, nor was it ever a destination of journeys, despite the fact that its holy patron, San Isidro, appreciates everything except special qualification of having been hitched to another holy person.…

    In the decades after 1519, the Spaniards created the distinctive colonial society of New Spain. Through this paper I will discuss the features of this new society, how it benefitted the Spanish, and its toll on the native populations using evidence and facts found in out textbook, The American Promise: A Concise History and an article from the Economist Newspaper titled, Americas:1519: The Conquest. It started in the sixteenth century when the New World helped Spain become the most powerful monarchy in both Europe and the Americas. Then there was the conquest of Mexico that ended greatly for the powerful Spain but not so much the native people of Mexico. This New Spain showed other Europeans how the New World could be made to serve the purposes of the Old.…

    I have never been to a Spanish speaking country, but would like to visit in the future. In some Central American countries you say “ buen provecho” when you serve food to someone, and it is also customary to say “ muchas gracias” after the meal. In Spain it is customary to say "que aproveche" or "buen provecho" before the meal when serving, and the response by the guests (or diners) would be "gracias". Paella is served in Spain during the springtime festival, Las Fallas. It has rice, meat or fish, saffron, paprika, and a variety of other spices. Along the northern region of Spain there are the Basques. Basque music uses a lot of vocals, specifically choir-singing, in their music. They have some unique musical instruments: the Txalaparta (a wooden instrument played with sticks), and the Txistu (a one-handed shepherd's flute), and the Alboka (a horn-clarinet). Cuenca is the capital city of Cuenca Province, central Spain. The city covers an area of about 17,061 square kilometers and the population there is about 54,600. Cuenca features a number of monuments and rivers with clear waters. Cuenca is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its monuments. Ibiza Island is in the Mediterranean Sea and is the third largest island of the Balearic Islands. Almost every night the people whistle and chant to the music that is starting to play at the large arena. The initiation starts with a loud thundering drum. The trumpet joins with the core melody with the great high pitched voices. The projection and the distinctiveness of the Spanish voices make it unique. The first words are only to inject fun and dance. Once the singers step the first step to the dance, all the brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments whirl together. The sharp upbeats leap the body to move its joints. Both genres of music have two ways of sound: they delight the ear with tremendous rhythm, but as the night flows, their passive, sweet melodies join soul mates. The sounds that pass through Mexico makes us live so vividly and happy. Despite the sounds of the instruments, the auditory the lyrics make is special. Most lyrics are inspirational music. The voice unit the people through words, experiences, and advice. From lost wars in the past to independence, to rising and falling or even to love songs, it engages the public’s…
