1.Describe the life of the Aztecs. What is Tenochtitlan? How big was that city?
Life of the Aztecs was a particular horizon of a general Mesoamerican civilization. Tenochtitlan was a big city in Mexico.
2.What was sold at the Aztec market?
Food & necessities were sold at the Aztec market for work.
3.What was the main staple of the Aztec diet?
The main staple was corn and after that it was beans & squash.
4.What were some of the reasons that Cortez wanted to conquer the Aztecs?
Some reasons Cortez wanted to conquer the Aztecs was because he was in a deep whole. He took names without Spain's approval & knew if he messed up, he would be in trouble.
5.What were some of the biggest advantages the Spanish had over the Aztecs?
Some of the biggest advantages the Spanish had over the Aztecs were diseases. The Spanish didn't bring that many weapons nor did they bring many horses.
6.What were the religious beliefs of both groups? Which group tried to convert the other one to their religion?
Their religious beliefs were, the Mexica believed in Mexicayotl while the Spanish believed in Christianity. The Spanish were trying to convert them.
