I live in Meigh for 5 years. Before I lived in Newry. We moved house because my parents wanted to be closer to my grandparents house. Meigh is 10 kilometers from Newry and it is a pretty site with views of the countryside and the mountains. In my opinion the people of Meigh are very open and welcoming.
Q2) In your opinion is it better to live in the countryside or in the town? Why?
In my opinion its better to live in the countryside because its very quiet and there is not much sound from cars because there is little traffic there. More over, its possible to have a larger garden in the countryside. However, if you lived in the town you would have everything at hand because you could walk to all the places. In general I prefer to live in the countryside because there are pretty views from my house of the countryside and the surroundings and I love the peace that there is there.
Q3) What facilities does Meigh offer for the young people?
Well, the truth is that Meigh doesn’t offer much with regards to facilities. There is only a gaelic stadium and there is a young persons club there. But with regards to restuarents or shops there are non and if we want to go out we have to go to Newry or Dundalk.
Q4) Talk to me about what you did last weekend in your area
Last Friday I went to a disco with my friends in Newry. We talked and danced with the very pretty girls there! I returned home in a taxi and I didn’t get to bed until 2am!
On Saturday I stayed in bed until midday! I had breakfast and I went to the city center with my friends and we seen a stupendious film there. In the evening we played football for 3 hours and then we took something in a café.
And what about Sunday? Did you do anything interesting?
On Sunday I walked my dog and I did the homework and I studied Spanish and sciences. It was boring! Wasn’t it? I stayed in my house all day and I got an early night.
Q5) Is there much unemployment in
