Firstly, parents are definitely ignorant about the consequences of spanking on their kids. With the development of science, researchers made number of accurate studies about this subject, and the conclusions were clear: spanking affects the brain’s gray matter development. This parenting method has nothing to do with teaching the concept of right and wrong to a child, yet it implants a fear factor toward parents which isn’t a good sign for a healthy family relationship.
