Let's start with Sparta, the strong, the tough, and the brutalest of civilizations. Being the most war liking of the of the two, Sparta’s slogan was “Come back ether holding your shield high or on your shield….Spartan leaders thought “Fight for your food.” This means, if you work in our army, you will be given a little bit of food. They only gave a little bit because you’d work harder if you want food to live.
On the other hand, there’s
Athens. Athens was the first democracy. Athens traded with everyone but Sparta. Sparta was their worst enemy. In Athens, only men could vote and when they did, they would gather in the middle of the city and (peacefully) vote. If I had a chance to go to one of these places, I would choose Athens over Sparta because it has more peace
And last but not least, i can inform you on how the two are similar. As you probably figured out, they are both Greek civilizations. In both civilizations, women were expected to obey men. They both had Olympic games, spoke the same language, and worshiped the same gods.
In conclusion, Sparta and Athens are very different, however are alike in some other ways. I gave you a paragraph on each Greek civilization and one on how they are alike.
