Special Education Classroom Observation

Looking at the observation presented in his classes, the teachers quickly notice that Jerrod has difficulties comprehending what he reads. As a result, Jerrod is placed him in a special education class. Jerrod in his IEP is provided with SETSS teacher with him to provide scaffolding for organizing his thinking and communicating understanding of what he read. As a special educator, it’s important to notice behaviors that a student’s has. Even though Jerrod was advanced in his reading skills, he had troubles comprehending what he read. Being placed in a special education class, Jerrod now has accommodation and modification that provided him extra help in his reading
