• To design a prototype that will help them ascertain their goods on hand at any given time, and will compute and automatically update databases for each sales transactions and inventory details to generate daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on sales and inventory with more accuracy and less time-consuming process.
• To develop a system that will have a rhythm for selling inventory on hand at a rate comparable to a pace at which it is being produced, so the company will have neither too much nor too little inventory on hand and at the same time to have extra inventory holders to handle the extra inventories for peak season
• To test and evaluate the acceptability of the system in terms of functionality, reliability, usability and so on by gathering feedback from prospective users and technical experts.
