Maximum people are under the line of poverty, unemployment, there is low income and very high illiteracy rate. Basics needs of life are very luxurious for the people. In context of Nepal inventing space technology and nuclear technology is still out of reach. Nepal is struggling to fulfill the basic requirements which people need. For Nepal development still means construction of road, electricity, water line, schools and hospitals. In most of the rural areas of Nepal people are still lacking these facilities. Kathmandu has been overly populated being the capital of Nepal the basic infrastructures, schools, colleges, hospitals, government institutions and many other facilities are available here. It is the duty of government to look after the people and development of the nation. Related issues should be given particular attention and identifying to solve the major problems. An effort has to be taken solving these issues. Thus, from my perspective development only in a particular area is not enough. From higher to lower, economic to social, caste, gender, unemployment, poverty, human rights to good governance. Every sector should be given equal emphasis for the development of a nation. Nepal being agrarian country agriculture is given more priority whereas industrialization and modernization are also equally important. Likewise people’s participation in the whole process of development is the key point. Community, society, organizations all should involve in development activities. Moreover a change is needed for the whole development concept.
