They are in fact part of William Blackstone’s family crest. More obviously, Millville is represented by the mill featured on its’ town crest. On the bottom right corner of the shield we see a sandaled foot with wings, arguably the foot of Hermes, representing athlete scholars. Top right a book inscribed with Unitas, the name of our school’s yearbook, and what it would have been called in 1972 when the shield first appeared on the cover of that year’s copy. …show more content…
