General Purpose: To demonstrate
Specific Purpose: To demonstrate how to register to vote in Connecticut
Central Idea: The audience will learn how to vote for president in Connecticut.
Introduction:
Did you know that in the 2012 presidential election, only about 59% of people in New London turned out to vote? The election this year is intense and likely to have a higher turnout rate. It is very important to know the steps to register to vote before the deadline which is November 1st. In this speech, I will show you how to register to vote.
