I would like to tell you a little about 1) his early life, 2) his big break in production, and 3) his dedication to his career. II. Body A. His career began as a makeup and effects artist in the Exorcist. 1. He was raised by his catholic grandmother in Guadalajara, Mexico. 2. At the age of twenty-one he produced his first film, Doña Herlinda (Mrs. Herlinda) and Her Son (1986). 3. During the 1880s he had become a makeup supervisor and also he had directed Mexican television programs and taught film in Guadalajara, Mexico.
(Now that you know about his early life, let me tell you how he skyrocketed in films) B. His big break came when he was asked to become a producer for Hollywood Studios. 1. After producing Crono’s (1993). He won nine academy awards in México. 2. His first film in Hollywood came on 1997 called Mimic. But unfortunately it was too demanding for him. 3. After finishing Mimic (1997), He returned to México and formed his own company called The Tequila Gang.
