According to a research conducted in St. George School in Chicago, midtown, even 30 minutes later of school starting time can make big difference. In fact, daytime sleepiness dropped substantially from 49% to 20% which increase students’ self-alertness; students’ tardiness decrease almost half of what it used to be; and the best of all is the fact that parents can prepare hot healthy breakfast in the morning for the students to eat. The researchers were stunned as they claim the result since the students were groggy and less contributive at school before they conduct the experiment. Dear friends, I think that all of you agree that the purpose of going to school is to learn. To learn well, our mood has to be at its best state as possible. Sleep enough, eat nutritious healthy food are the best options to gain better mood. Without these conditions, our mind won’t focus; the worst case is that we can even fall asleep, while our teachers tire themselves explaining what’s needed to be learnt.
