Yes, it is biologically accurate to some extent. Biologically, spiders have eight walking legs. It also create silk from spinneret glands in their abdomen and it is used to create webs to catch prey. It is just like in the movie. The spider walk on eight legs and they wrap human up with their silk. The difference is that the movie makes people think that spider consume humans too as humans are wrap in their web while biologically, spider eat insects. I feel that this is portrayed accurately as fire can kill spiders. Furthermore, they also spray fire extinguisher on the spider when it enters their home. I I feel it is portrayed accurately as you can stop the spider from moving by freezing it. They also try to stop the spider from entering by sealing up all holes in their house. In the end, they are just trap in their own house as the spiders have used its silk to cover up the whole place.
