Spiritual Autobiography Examples

During the summer of 2003, my youngest brother and I were playing in our room before going to church. At this time I asked him if he had asked Jesus into his heart, and he said that he hadn’t. So I proceeded to tell him about Jesus, and on that day he accepted Jesus into his heart. I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember, however this is the first instance I recall where my faith was alive and active. My first connections with my maker came through his creation. As a child, I used to walk around and marvel at his creation through rocks, and butterflies, and stars, etc. As I have grown, my faith in Christ has become more of an intellectual one. I have gone to a Christian school since Kindergarten, where I memorized scripture and learned about Jesus. As early as sixth grade I started to receive worldview training, and in eighth grade I started my apologetics training at my high school. The Word of God is incredibly powerful and multifaceted. John 1 says that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word has many
God has placed me in a community of believers daily, even at school. When I was five years old God graciously allowed me to attended a Christian elementary school, and I have gone through a Christian education system from kindergarten through my senior year of high school. Attending church on Sundays and youth group on Wednesdays are important tools that God has used to shape my life. Through daily interaction through the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit, and the body of Christ, God continues to reveal his message to me, and allows for me to be surrounded by other Christians who strengthen, encourage, and walk through life with me.
