Spiritual warfare is not something that is talked about a lot. Most of the time it is ignored or people are too afraid to tackle the topic. But as the book states, spiritual warfare is all around, “No one can totally escape the influence of demons (Dickason, 66).” It is also beneficial for believers to know that spiritual warfare comes in different forms. It can come from attacks by the flesh or the world, or it can come directly from Satan himself. Each is a form of spiritual warfare and believers need to be mindful of what it looks like. If believers better understand spiritual warfare, they can better protect themselves against it or be able to fight it. Spiritual warfare is seen a lot of times in Christian ministries and churches. I appreciated how it mentioned the three different areas in which spiritual warfare can occur: the flesh, the world, and Satan/demons. Whenever spiritual warfare is talked about, it always seem to focus on only one of those areas and not all three. This leads to a lack of understanding of spiritual warfare. There was not a big weakness of the reading. I do wish it went more in depth. At times, it felt as if I was reading a list of bullet points. It is a good introduction to spiritual warfare, but I believe to better understand the issue, a lot more research will have to be
