I enjoyed working with the teaching staff because they allowed me to produce warm ups for the students and take over in parts of the lessons. This gives me confidence that I would be fully capable of leading sessions for young people. I was also allowed to sit in and watch the teachers introduce the new year 10 students to the BTEC level 2 course. During my time in the classroom I thought of ideas on how I could capture the student’s attention and draw them in to sport more than they already were, because the PowerPoint shown was basic, with a few videos. I believe the key to an intriguing PowerPoint or presentation is a sparse amount of writing on the slides with plenty of information in your notes to compliment it, as well as images that draw the student’s attention. Questions and games would also be a first-class addition to such a project. This demonstrates my ability to identify challenges and provide solutions that can encourage and attract those whose attention may
