In baseball, there are mostly upper body injuries, but there are few lower body injuries that could happen. For instance, you could sprain your ankle or knee while running the bases or fielding the ball. The best way to treat a sprain is rest, painkillers, and icing the sprain. Since a sprain is just when you twist or sometimes tear the tissue around the joint it is able to heal on it’s own. You could also break or fracture a bone. It is more common for you to break a bone in your arm, but it is possible to break a bone in your leg. If you do break a bone, it is best to see a doctor so they can cast it. Your best treatment would be to ice your shin, take painkillers, and rest. You can also get some arm injuries in both sports. You can easily dislocate or pull something in your shoulder from throwing in the soccer ball or throwing the ball to another base.
