Just from sports you can learn life lessons for just that watching or even playing. Even though competitive sports is about participation it is all about how hard you work and how hard you try. If your team gets last in a tournament, that does not matter
to you, it matters how you think you did. If you think you should get something for participating you should go back to first grade. You need to put some effort into playing a sport, then you will probably succeed.
Another things is that you can get a lot of exercise from playing sports. A lot of people like teens are obese, but when they start playing a sport they become more athletic and more fit. It also gets a lot of exercise for the kids that don't get a lot of exercise. Last it makes the kids work harder and somethings. It also creates for a lot of life skills.
Last I think that when you play a sport you deserve to get more fit. Playing a sport is a work out for most people it gets then active and gets then ready for the day. Second it also helps the players concentrate better at lots of different things. Last it creates new life skills for everyone. The other side though of competitive sports thinks that all sports are bad because maybe some kids might get hurt and maybe it can be expensive for you. Even though sports can be rough it also has some good things to it. Like sports is super good for people that want to lose weight. Also if you think that sports is too rough then why would you have you child playing a sport.
In conclusion, I think that sports are good because it gets kids fit and more active, also it is super fun if it is something you want to be doing. I think that sports is an overall good thing even if there can be some bad spots, at the end of the day sports can help millions of people in a day.
