St. Eugenia was born in Alexandria, Rome around 180 A.D. ( Orthodox Church in America). St. Eugenia was a devout christian throughout her whole life. St. Eugenia was so compassionate about her religion that she even disguised herself in men's clothes disguised as the monk Eugene (Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese). St. Eugenia was a great example of what all christians should be like. Saint Eugenia was a very religious person throughout her life and she inspired many people by all of her acts and her miracles. Saint Eugenia was a very religious person throughout her whole life. In Saint Eugenia’s time women were not allowed to be christian. However, this did not stop Saint Eugenia so she dressed in mens clothes and disguised herself as a man. Saint Eugenia was named the saint of transgender because of her dressing as a man. To me Saint Eugenia seemed very kind, forgiving and she just wanted everyone to be happy, this is one of the reasons Jesus wanted her to share his day with her. My opinion on why she was accepted into heaven by god was that he saw a lot of himself in Saint Eugenia. I could never do what Saint Eugenia did, she went off hiding as a man just to worship God and did not even tell her family what she was doing.
