Months later, he established the “Order of Poor Clare’s” which was a private order for women; he then established the commonly known “Third Order” which was for all brothers and sisters of Christ. After being rejected by his friends and most of his family, he began to nurse lepers and help the poor, where which he received a vision from Jesus, where he heard "Francis, Francis, go and repair My house which, as you can see, is falling into ruins”, which he took to mean the church where he was at that time. After his father had tried to change Francis’s mind, by talking, then by beating, Francis went to the Bishop of Assisi, where he renounced his family and everything he had gained by them. On October 3rd, 1226, Francis went to see the Lord, do to multiple illnesses he carried throughout his life, and was greatly mourned by all his followers. Five days before his death, he handed the expanded orders to brother Peter at the Porziuncola, who had the responsibility of caring for men scattered about in France, Germany, Spain, Hungary, and most of remaining eastern world, who were preaching and sharing the word of the Lord and savior, Jesus
