Jude is proudly recognized as an institution, team/group, and individual. As an institution, St. Jude has been awarded one of the best places to work for. For example, the fortune magazine awarded St. Jude as one of the 100 best companies to work for, 100 best workplaces for women and millennial, and 50 best workplaces for diversity. People magazine awarded them as one of the 50 companies that care. For team/group awards, the St. Jude hospital was awarded: Magnet Recognition, American Nurses Credentialing Center (2015), American Society of Clinical Oncology Pediatric Oncology Award (2009), American Association for Cancer Research AACR Team Science Award (2009), and the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, American Association of Critical- Care Nurses (2009-2010). The Individual awards are many, and for the most part, their PhD’s, MD’s, and PharmD’s have been a huge success in receiving awards of excellence, research, and leadership; all of these people were rewarded for doing good by avoiding bottom-line mentality and by evaluating and implementing ethical processes.
