1.0 Introduction
Stakeholders in project management are defined as a group of persons, individuals and groups that are vital from the initiation stage to the delivery date (Cleland, 1995). These stakeholders have their different roles to play and in view of the fact that they are …show more content…
For example in the acquisition and renovation of Nesterland Hotel Project (2017) the host community which are secondary stakeholders are important because it is expected that most of the vendors that would come to supply building materials like cement will not be allowed to access the project site until some payments are made to the community. However, if there is form resistance from the vendor, the host community will delay the delivery of materials hence, delaying the entire project.
