Stan Lee Accomplishments

Stan Lee is known for creating marvel comics and bringing marvel to the size it is today. Yet, he didn’t always start out as being a comic book writer. Where he did start was writing obituaries for the local newspaper. From here he went from job to job, slowly climbing the ladder. In 1972 he became a publisher of Marvel comics. Here, in 1977, he created Spider Man as a syndicated newspaper strip. The strip sold over 500 million worldwide, making it the longest running of all Super hero strips. Mr. Lee has created or co-created 90% of the most recognized heroes in the Marvel universe. Such as Spider Man, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Hulk, Iron man and X-Men. With these accomplishments and ideas, Stan lee has influenced people to imagine heroes all around the world. He is deemed to be the inventor of the superhero. Even with his success as a publisher for marvel, Stan still decided to move up. Where he became Director of Stan Lee media Inc. in 1998. Even from this position. Stan Lee has still risen to where he is today; Chairman and Chief Creative Officer for Pow! Entertainment, Inc. Stan has been in this position since 2004. Stan, with his ideas, has become the single highest gross filmmaker in history. His heroes have generated around 11 billion dollars in revenue.
They have brought inspiration and motivation to me and millions of people that keep up with the heroes. Even though they may be fictional, the characters are a big part in our society. Such as comic con and high school debates. I could be sitting in the hall and someone brings up a super hero, this then sparks a talk that goes on for hours. I’m not the only one this happens to. That is what Stan Lee's ideas have inspired for people. His ideas, create ideas. His characters and fictional settings live on through the ages. They live on no matter who is observing
